MJ ♡ L37

On November 5, the shoe collection designed by Marieta Żukowska in collaboration with the Polish brand L37 premiered. It is a manifesto of femininity – timeless, not bound by age or fleeting trends.

It all started with a relationship. Marieta has been wearing L37 shoes for years – a brand she connects with not only through style but also emotion.

- Fifteen years ago, I bought ballet flats from L37. They were absolutely unique: handcrafted, fashionable, original. And yet accessible and unpretentious. That’s when my love for the brand and its designs began. Asia Trepka has an incredible sense of style. I knew that together we would create something exceptional - says Marieta Żukowska.

- Marieta's style is timeless femininity. It's not about following trends, but having her own fashion language. Our joint collection was meant to be the same - focused on quality, comfort, and elegance that doesn't age - adds Joanna Trepka, co-owner of L37.

The inspiration was classic. But a personal classic - rooted in memories. When designing, Marieta thought of her mother and her favorite sandals from the 80s. Today, this style is back - in a sensual, refreshed version. Strappy sandals, ankle boots, or knee-high boots with a detachable chain are like jewelry - you wear them when and how you want.

The entire collection features 9 models - diverse, feminine, and well-thought-out. Comfortable ankle boots and knee-high boots for everyday wear, but also striking ones for special occasions. Ultra-feminine sandals, sleek yet so comfortable you won't want to take them off.

 - I want women to feel sexy and strong in these shoes. To be modern feminists - free, yet loving their femininity. Heels, for me, are a statement of class, style, and strength. I dream for my shoes to be multi-generational - for daughter, mother, grandmother. Because femininity knows no age - says Marieta Żukowska.

The shoes are crafted from ultra-soft sheepskin – gentle on the foot, durable in wear. The forms are simple, but with a twist. Architectural uppers, elongated toes, interesting proportions. Comfortable heels, but with character – that's a hallmark of the L37 brand.

The collection's launch deliberately coincided with the start of the celebration season - Christmas, New Year's, carnival. These are shoes that combine comfort with a "wow" effect. Perfect for special occasions, but also for any day you simply want to celebrate.

 - I love fashion and I miss photoshoots that evoke emotions. I was inspired by the works of Peter Lindbergh, Helmut Newton, Guy Bourdin. The latter - a surrealist, a visionary - is closest to my heart. That's why I wanted our photoshoot to be bold, unexpected. I dreamed of Marcin Kempski being its author, because he is an outstanding photographer whom I adore - says Marieta Żukowska.

Marcin Kempski, a photographer who has worked for Louis Vuitton, Louboutin, and Dior, among others, created a narrative from the campaign – with a hint of surrealism and an aesthetic straight out of "Sin City" or "Batman Returns." It's a story about a classy woman. Strong, sensual, independent.
